Find out More About DAP to Soothe and Calm Your Dog

I have two articles to share with you today. They are both on the subject of DAP products. DAP is an acronym for the full name, which is Dog Appeasement Pheromone. The image above shows the range and is supplied, courtesy of Ceva, the manufacturers of Adaptil products.

I have a dog who came to us from an Animal Rescue charity. he was, and still is to an extent very nervous. This is especially noticeable when his normal daily routine is disrupted for any reason. Loud noises or visitors will send him rushing to hide under the bed and often bring on a tummy upset too.

I was very glad to learn about DAP and wrote this article on hubpages

You might find it helpful if you have a dog who suffers from anxiety or, whose fears cause him to exhibit unwanted, destructive, or even threatening behaviour.

If you have had to have a dog treated for heartworm infection and are worrying about how you are going to keep him quiet and calm after the treatment - which is an important requirement, there is a helpful article on aftercare on the website www.heartwormtreatment-fordogs.com which also includes information on the beneficial use of DAP diffusers for dogs who have to be crated (caged) during recuperation.
